Smartson test on our craftsman stretch trousers
Together with Smartson we have allowed 47 test pilots to test our craftsman stretch trousers with increased freedom of movement. Several of the test pilots work as craftsmen and have liked the comfort, agility and functions of the trousers.

In addition to the fit, many of the test pilots are satisfied with the design of the pockets and the overall design of the pants. Some experience the model as being too tight in its fit and that the sizes are small. The tip can therefore be to go up a size from the ordinary.

Both loose-hanging pockets are reinforced with CORDURA® at the top, on the inside and at the bottom for carrying nails, screws and so on. The pockets are designed with angled corners to make it easier to reach their contents and to prevent them from collecting dirt. The loose hanging pockets can be folded into the front pockets. D-ring suitable for items such as keys or ID card.
A folding rule pocket is placed over the side seam and it has a loose lower part, so it doesn’t get in the way when you work on your knees. We have added an extra tool pocket and pen pocket together with a metal button and loop for a sheath knife.
Pre-shaped knees made of stretch material together with outside pre-shaped knee pockets of stretch CORDURA® make kneeling work more comfortable. Knee pads are easily inserted into the knee pockets thanks to the outside opening from above. The knee pads can be placed at two heights to suit your needs.
The bake yoke and rear of the trousers, underneath the back pockets, are made of stretch material to give maximum mobility and comfort. The roomy back pockets are made of our CYD cotton/polyester mix to offer high durability. The lower parts of the pockets are loose, so they don’t affect mobility when you bend or work on your knees. The pockets are reinforced with CORDURA® at the top, on the inside and at the bottom, and they have metal rivets at stress points.
A large multifunctional leg pocket is placed over the side seam and has a loose lower part, so it doesn’t affect mobility. It includes a mobile phone pocket, small tool pocket and ID card pocket. we have also added a practical zipped water-resistant pocket which is suitable for items such as electrical equipment or a mobile phone. This pocket is also equipped with ventilation.
Led ends are adjustable with snap fastening. This is useful for example when you want to keep out wind of water. To increase durability, we have also reinforced the leg ends with CORDURA®. If the leg ends get wet a special design prevents the moisture from spreading to the stretch and CYD fabric.
