FAS G

If there is one thing Fristads is associated with it is FAS®, our self-developed cotton quality, which is characterised by its dense weaving. In 2019, we launched a new version of the classic FAS® trousers – FAS G.

It was just that dense fabric that our founder John Magnuson was looking for when he in the 1920s started to import workwear from America. Eventually, John began to manufacture the fabric in his own weaving mill and ever since, the weaving has played a key role in Fristads’ assortment for many different professions.

Because it is the weaving that makes the FAS® quality a great material. The tear resistance is unbeatable which means the products manufactured in the material can withstand a greater amount of wear and tear. In addition, the material is comfortable to wear.

Even though our FAS® fabric is now over 70 years old, it continues to deliver. Our range still includes several products that are manufactured using the fabric. To meet the needs of today's craftsmen, however, we have developed the FAS® trousers further by adding elastic parts in 4-way stretch for extra comfort and freedom of movement. The new generation of craftsman trousers in FAS® cotton is called FAS G.

The demand for certified high-vis workwear within building and construction has increased a lot in the past few years. To complete our offer, we have added a pair of FAS G craftsman trousers with high-vis class 1 to the assortment.
